How To Wear Animal Print In Autumn - Winter

August 26, 2017

It has been said that animal print is a neutral; uhm some may agree and others not. So for now we will leave it to be debated another day! It does however have neutral colours to it which go with almost any other colour or print. Obviously this has to be done within a certain limit so that it can look effortless for it to look tasteful and appealing. Even though I am still to see it clashing with any colour palette or print, I know deep down that it can be overbearing to one’s eyes if not done right.

I personally love the print during the autumn-winter season because of the earthy tones that go with Mother Nature around this time. Somehow neutral colours tend to make us feel warm and fuzzy inside. If you have been following my blog for some time you will notice that I pick a print and complement it with solid colours when it comes to the other clothing pieces. So the statement piece for this look is this furry clutch which I copped about 2 months back. I had been hunting locally for a big clutch like this for almost 2 years when I finally found it. When I walked into Fashion World on one of my frequent visits, I saw it and just bought it on the spot.

Like many times before, when I like something I buy it even if I never wear it for sometime whilst I formulate how I want to wear it. It is one of my most cherished finds that will surely become a favourite I know. I paired it with a polka dot pussy bow top in black and white, tan/camel coloured skirt and lastly with my winter 2017 coat of choice. This coat has been on 3 looks already including this one with a couple more to come in the coming weeks. If you want to see how I styled the coat previously you can see it here and here. So it has been my favourite coat indeed.
