Powerful And Confident In Animal Print

November 09, 2017

There is often that something special about an outfit which has any or some kind of a print; especially animal print. With the right print, you have already won because the base of that outfit is killer. Guess what, your confidence also shoots to the roof. “When you look good, you feel good”! How many times have you heard this statement? Well, it is true on so many levels as I have witnessed and lived it multiple times before. And many a times people will see it too. My style is conservative and modest in general and I do not think it will change in the near future either.

Sometimes I wish to play around with mixing a couple of prints but me being me I tend to overly critic and analyze my choices. But whenever the urge comes I satisfy this need by visiting pages of some of my favourite bloggers like Karen Brit Chick, Tiffany M Battle and Skinnyhipster whom I believe among many others, they mix prints so well. Believe you me, you will be left speechless when you see the level of detail and structure they have applied to get it right. I find that they do it so well that often it takes more than a glance to notice the intricacies, multitude of colours and prints they combine in one outfit. When they do it, they really do it well. It is definitely something to marvel on and appreciate. Basically they leave no stone unturned!

On to today’s look, I paired this H&M blouse with a simple black tulle skirt. I could have paired the print with any colour in case you don't know. I could have gone white, orange, green, red, brown etc but black is my colour of choice today. I find that nowadays you can pair any print with any solid colour, and the outfit just works. To complete the look I went for all black accessories too. These shoes where a birthday gift but some days I dread them. My gripe with them is that the right one seems to really pinch me especially after a few minutes of walking; which no one needs when they have a long and busy day ahead. I know with a few wears and the sock and hairdryer trick, they should break and stretch a bit. I mean, I need to get the most wear out of them. So for now, they are just good to look at because they are not comfortable on the feet.
